Title: looken to breed next heat!!! Post by: BIG CHRIS on May 18, 2011, 02:39:58 am this is HARLEY she is a hard hunting medium range dog, with a ton of grit and stop to her!!! she will shut a hog down cant tell u how many ham strings and nuts she has ripped out! this is the gyp i have been looken for a good YBMC pup or started dog for breeding purposes. i have`nt found one yet and i need to get her bred before old age gets her. not looken to pay any outrageous stud fee`s but a breeding for pick of the litter would be NICE!!! can not tell you how she is bred as far as blood lines go other then she came from apple springs and was suppose to be a hell of a cow dog before she was turned onto hogs. and will still hold a cow at bay if told to. i live in the rains county area of TX so any thing close to this area would be nice, she came out of heat about 2 months ago. thank you fellas for any help!!!

I'll bring a dog you can look at this weekend. Very good bloodline but the reason i was able to afford him is because he was short range and too gritty for the man. He raised extremly long range registered BMC. Anyways he is a good one. That's what I'm getting too. If my superman dog (1/2 cur 1/2 cat) takes me 5 miles again Im really going leave him sitting on his chain for a while again. I haven't hunted him in like 2 months but he always produces. We caught 6 hogs all because of him on that guided hunt this weekend but damn, that dog doesn't have a bottom. He was still trying to go. I was like don't stab the next one jump on that damn dog. ha ha Title: Re: looken to breed next heat!!! Post by: BIG CHRIS on May 18, 2011, 09:31:20 am yeah but u know like i know that is what impress`s the guest and hopefully brings them back. at the same time hope it makes them not want there own dogs because of so much ground covered.

Title: Re: looken to breed next heat!!! Post by: BQM on May 19, 2011, 11:31:26 pm I dont know any specific blood lines I got him when he was about one year old from a good friend of mine that got out of hog hunting he had given him to his brother-in law who just left him on a chain and did nothing with him. I started hunting him about 4 yrs ago got him lined out on what to hunt and he aint looked back yet. Got his leg broke last year while hunting and slowed him down alittle still a very good dog found abunch of pork and one tough old son of a gun. My buddy i got him from had his parents dad was 3/4 blk mouth 1/4 walkerhound was a saddle back dog, mother was full blood yellow blk mouth. And hooking up for a hunt sounds good to me.
