i would like to have all loose baying curs but i have a few rough ones

Cat female; walkerxcat male; two bluetick/walker x puppies trailing hot dogs right now. Two 11 month old super active pups one is July mnt cur x, other is cat/ mnt cur x. All loose baying.

Loose Curs. It is surprising to me the number of people that get joy out of knowingtheir dogs are doing better than their buddies.

loose baying mutts. one hound cross for now. working on a pack of rough and a loose pack just for fun.

yella curs they are tight and will catch a little pig. yella is the only way to .

 Mix bred curs with both loose baying and rough dogs in the pack.

We run rough cur/hound crosses! They will usually catch anything under 150 by them self and bay anything bigger. If they are all together then they might catch out on a bigger hog.

I run East Texas bred BMC's that get rough, bay loose, and keep me pissed off about half the time.   :D

Why would anyone enjoy seeing their buddies dogs quit a bay?  ???

I like see everyones dogs do well on a hunt. Even if they outperform mine.

I like to see my buddies dogs do good because most of us hunt the same line of dogs and most of the time mine act like they don't know what a hog is so I at least want somebody's dogs to bay us a hog..

You're dogs couldn't handle the beating, but mine could.  Mine must be better.  That type of mentality.  I know a few of those types.   ;)

I love seeing anybodys good dogs hunt but i dont love huntin with a bunch of culls that people wont cull ;D

It's funny.  I think I can tell exactly who is choosing what answer.  It speaks a lot about the whole picture to me.

i like tight bayen nut pullen hog spinning rogh dogs!!!! i like to see 3 good dogs maken a hog spin like a top and help catch when the bull dog hits!!!!

1. male blue lacy that is rough as they come with brains.

1. YBMC gyp that loves to put a little teeth to a running hog to stop it.

1. plott gyp that loves to rip nuts and butts out of big nasty boars.

But i do like to see some nice loose bayen dogs that will bay all day long.

  Run straigh BMC's, they will back off and bay once the hog is stopped. What I really like about them is that they are seldom together when hunting. They spread out and beat the woods. Once one of them bays it won't be but a few moments till reinforcements arrive to join in.

I've got em all. No grit loose baying, rough strait catch, and and just gritty enuff to hold a bay solid. Love em all

My two main dogs are cur with a little hound in there somewhere. I thought they were loose baying until last night when they caught out on a boar that went 190! :o

But I would have to say my most favorite thing I have ever seen was a bluetick baying a armodillo and my dog go to it and come right back out :D

I voted that my dogs are baying and buddies dogs are headed back to the truck, THats because I love my friends so much that U am proud they won't be smelling that skunk smell all the way home also!  >:D

Rough Curs

I like Tusk Hogs description of the type of dogs he hunts. :)

But I like hard hunting gritty mtn curs that can shut a big hog down. The bad thing is sometimes they push the hog if the brush is thick and the dogs can't set up.

Instead of breeding for loose baying dogs I prefer to breed for rougher, even if running vests are required. Have some in the oven right now. Time will tell... ??? :)

Mostly rough curs a couple of rough hounds... I wouldnt want anyones dogs doing bad. its called teaching, if you know your dogs are better than theirs... help their dogs learn so they can have a good pack too
