Title: need help about dog wormer Post by: jalston on June 20, 2011, 08:59:31 am i am considering using ivermectin liquid for my dogs. i've heard put it in their water,i really don't want to do that, i change my water every other day and add to daily. i also have heard of giving 1/2 cc ivermec with 1/2 cc water by mouth on food every month, this would be best for me, don't want to do anything till i know for sure. thanks, Jim

Have had several vets tell me they have found heart worms in a few dogs treated with the injectable. The oral can be obtain through vet. 1/2 cc per 50 lbs, I put mine in the food. The oral not very expensive either.
