I have been takeing my six month old pup out by his self an this morning he rolled out an bayed up a saw a four shouts

 Thats really good for only six months old. He is still a baby.  :)

Did you do any sort of training prior to taking him to the woods?

showed him a pig in a pen a couple of times an ben takeing him to some good wallers an it was like he new what he was supposed to do this morning

that's what I call a natural and those are the kind that should be bred to their daughter and grand daughter of the same caliber and start the line off of him... :)

a natural doesn't need much training but just show him what you want...

They have been carefully bred I have a nine month old off the same line that is rangeing out really good an we have brought 23 head out behind him an a bulldog

I have the 6 month olds momma and she will be three in September.  I bought her from jeep in march and she is becoming a fine dog. She doesn't have a dead set hunting style just does what it takes to find a hog.  One day she may not get farther than a hundred and fifty yards and one day she will go half a mile. I wouldn't take any amount of money for her. I am going to breed her in October-November and hope she throws more pups.

Good job for a pup. Be mindful that he is just that....a pup, he's not even in elementary school yet and you're asking him to do college work....just my 2 cents.
