Title: Well I guess my litter of Fla curs made it over the hump Post by: crackerc on July 10, 2011, 01:45:59 pm I was worried about this litter of Monkey x JJ pups. The week she had them we had several days over 100 degrees. I really didn't have a lot of hope in her raising them all as it was so hot . But JJ is a really good mother and took good care of the pups. It takes a lot to lay there and nurse 8 pups when its that hot.
They will be three weeks old July 11 and have been wormed once already. Their eyes are open and they are walking around some. I start feeding them this week. So hopefully we are in the clear! It being as hot as its been and JJ coming 8 years old I just wasn't sure how they were going to do. They seem to be doing fine. Maybe they will be more heat tolerant than my other dogs..... ;D
