Title: I Want To See!
Post by: ETHHunters on July 27, 2011, 07:13:32 am
Alright guys there have been several of you on here talking about how bad your puppies are. Baying and catching 80# to 100# pigs at 3 months old. Well I want to see them baying a hog and then catching it. Personally I think y'all are blowing smoke!!

If someone has a pup that would do that, I would be scared to see it! It might be able to use the internet and find my house and catch me!

wow some folks must have some really slow starters or some awful small pups is all i can say or just never owned a decent one or somethin... my pups are usually a little above average size by 3-4 months so would naturally be disputed their age but i guarantee my next litter will be posted on video just for you to see whats lacking and anybody here that knows me knows that its true...sometimes its amazing how many folks claim to be great hog hunters then say some stuff that makes you wonder if they have ever even owned a dog period lol ;)

for size reference only this pup was a little over 4mths when it was taken... lol and no its not an 80# hog  ;D but she did catch the pig in the real woods not all alone but run in when a sow was caught by other dogs and caught the little pig...its not tied to her mouth or nothing either :D but i guarantee she would bay by herself and catch 60-80  pound pigs with another pup the same age not all by herself but with another pup at 3-4 mths. prime example tho about some early starters. she turned off and was culled shortly after a yr old and was showing great prospect from 3-4mths old till about 8mths (http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/i421/chucket3/1211f23a.jpg)

Noelle,

Would you post some pics of your linebred dogs and pups?  I'd like to see the uniformity of your line.

idk about yall but our puppies are weined at 6 weeks old and can barely follow you through the back yard. so i know two and a half months later they are not big enough or interested enough in baying a hog much less catching one but idk. JMO

her dad is over 100# and mom around 80#...these are some older pics i dont take many pictures usually. do yall just like to start $h!t and argue or what? I mean do you really hunt? do yall have 10 acre pens you hunt in or somethin... Its kinda rediculous how many folks have to question everything they see or hear just to start an arguement... shows a serious lack of experience or lack of pride in their dogs or something... there are real hog dogs and real dog hunters out there everybody aint a first timer or pen hunter or just like to start $h!t cuz they dont have it... so that makes it not real... Im not argueing all day on here again lol just imagine what all the folks that know whats true think about some of the stuff non believers say... just cuz they dont post it dont mean there not wondering the same thing i am ;D have a good arguement boys im out lol

noelle,  i agree with you, these people who just want to see an argument started are stupid! not all dogs are the same different breeds do different things and just because your toy poodle cant bay at 4 months old doesnt mean that my bmc cant, so unless you know everybodies dogs and how everybody trains there pups then keep your mouth shut. this isnt a forum for arguments so if you have something that you know is going to start a fight just dont say it! peace

Halfbreed, go to your pic on photobucket, when the pop up appears click on the bottom of the 4.......that will copy the image code.....after you type your reply, right click your mouse and click the "paste" and when you post the pic should be there.......hope it helps......

Well I have a good story.  I was new when I got this pup and still am pretty new to doggin.  I picked up a gyp from a guy and he said he had some pups.  So he gave me a pup to try.  It was the last one left of the litter.  I took it home and about a week later I caught a small pig so I took it home to see what the 3 month old pup would do with it.

Here is what happened.

NOELLE, Good lookin dogs man. I expect my pups to be baying hogs as soon as they hit 4months. Not finding or catching but I show them a pig early.
