Title: LOST A MONSTER Post by: Centexhogdogger on August 18, 2011, 04:06:23 pm last night me and my buddie left out around 11pm went and picked of a catchdog we trailed.. got to our spot by groesbeck around 1am.
It been around 3months since my gyp been hunting cause of pups. we got out there and i turned her out and he turned his 2 dogs out. i borrowed a cur from a buddy. well my Gyp MOON. she winded little then started hunting she struck about 250yrds out and all the dogs took off to follow. they got down in some thick stuff by a dried creek. we went around aout 10 yrds from the bay took about 20min to get there. we could hear the fight. so we turnd out the bulldog and was very disapointed when he stood there and was just wandering around doin nothing... The pig they was on killed 2 dogs 2 weeks ago we was determined. Well he broke and they shut him down again this time after about 4 times of pointing the catchdog into the bay she finally ran in to catch but got tossed... the pig was gone after that. My gyp found him one more time but was a good mile out so i just called her off.. long story short WERE NOT buying that catch dog.. but it was a good hunt. the pig is a 375+ Title: Re: LOST A MONSTER Post by: Dirtydog on August 18, 2011, 04:41:08 pm i got 4 catchdogs live right down the hwy... lets go catch him !
