Title: Wednesday evening hunt solo Post by: ujustneverknow on August 20, 2011, 12:10:36 pm Went out Wednesday evening called all my buddies I hunt with and no one could make it. Went out to a place I have and started rigging. Was headed back out the ranch when th dogs bailed out of truck. They took off by a tank and went bout 600 yards and bayed solid. I vested Boston and headed to Em ( Capt Hook Joe Rock). Kicked Earl loose so he could have some fun too. Got close to bay and saw Joe fly through the Air so I let Boston loose. He ran in the bush and caught. I made my way through the bush and this good boar was inside. I rolled him over and made a few phone calls to see if I could get help to load him if I tied him up. No answers! Not very good pics but hard to get dogs n pic and keep Em there by yourself.

It was a blast but nothing beats a day n the woods with your buds but can't just feed the dogs and let Em lay got to get Em out even if it's by myself. I wanted to take him alive but that would of neve happened without some help loading that sucker.

Rock was 110% silent. He opened on track sat night for the first time. Earl is open as can be. But i dont let Earl out until its bayed just to warm them up for bear season. So hopefully Rock was just excited. Thanks for all the comments appreciate it.
