Title: College Station vs Huntsville Post by: NMartin on August 23, 2011, 01:37:55 am or put another way
Texas A&M vs Sam Houston State I am trying to figure out which one to go to. I might just end up going to the TEEX and just doing the police academy on my own instead of finishing up my 4 year degree. Any advice or thoughts on where to go? I am looking at moving in January so I need to get on the application process soon. Title: Re: College Station vs Huntsville Post by: tmatt on August 23, 2011, 09:42:35 am I would suggest A&M. Either way, go ahead and get a degree before going to the academy. There are more opportunities and higher pay for officers with a college degree. Not to mention that it will also help you be able to achieve your intermediate and advanced police officer certifications.

I didn't go to either of the above, I went to Harvard on the hwy, and have a different take on most college degrees. If I was hell bent on a degree, no question it would be from Texas A&M. If I go to school for 2 more years at either college I will have to wait two more years before I start making any money. Paying for it won't be a problem either way... I will be using your taxpayer dollars ;) ;D THANK YOU GI BILL ;) Title: Re: College Station vs Huntsville Post by: hogdog05 on August 23, 2011, 06:19:36 pm A&M just took my money, HaHa. I was way to drunk and chasin girls to worry about a degree. But man was it fun. An affirm ring will amazingly open doors you never thought possible. I see it all the time with my friends that managed to graduate.
