It will eventually come off (not sure about the smell) as they hit the brush and water but at that time all the sniffing should be over and the hunting on.
Had a guy tell me (famous coon hunter so to speak) you could buy some spray at walmart that was for covering scent when a dog pees in the house. he swore by it. I have just used the vapor rub. Then she breeds to strays. Put her in a kennel. It will mess up the males and your hunt will suck. If that is the only hope then forget it.
