Title: Solo Hunt 9-6-11 Post by: txhogsanddogs on September 07, 2011, 08:30:24 am Decided to take a ride last night so i threw Superman, Stew, Dozer and Dudley with me. Pulled thru the gate and Superman jump over board still chained in the back of the truck. I got my truck stop and got him untangled and turn him loose. He rolled out in a hurry to 950. He was showing bayed. Drove to within about 150 yards and cut the rest of them loose. Ran in behind them and had about a 150 pound sow caught. I stuck her and realized Superman was already gone. Looked at my garmin and showed him at 1.2 on the garmin treed. I got everything loaded back up and headed too him. Drove up within 300 yards and cut the dogs loose. Same thing, caught hog. Got this big sow stuck and Superman was no where to be found. Long story short this cooler weather has got Superman ready to stack some bacon. I chase that dang dog for another few hours and finally got him caught. 2 good sows but man, i sure miss my hunting partner.

My neck is already swellling because of deer season, I slow up some on the weekends because of deer season but yes, i hunt year round and your welcome to come up anytime.
