I've hunted for years and taken many people out with me who all end up buying one. I get mine off of amazon.com. Around $60. Like he said, don't get the rechargeable, just keep extra batteries with you.

I paid almost $80 for it, then seen this from Huskemaw optics, supposed to be 600 lumen around $60
