Title: son would like a start baypen competion Post by: muddogger98 on October 10, 2011, 11:57:28 am ok we hunt dogs but my son said he would like to start doing competion bayin.. he is 13.. we wants to know what all it would take to get him going..does he have to do the youth.. what does he need to watch out for in the do's and dont's on his dog.. does it have to be a cretain age for him. and what to bring etc. thanks for any help giving..

If he already has a dog use it, no need to buy a dog for him to go a couple of times and not like it as much as he thinks he will. He does not have to enter the youth bay exclusively. Once he gets to a baying just pick somebody with dogs out and talk to them. Most people will be more than willing to help you out.

EVERY PEN YOU GO TO HAS DIFFRENT RULES THERE IS SOME AROUND HERE WHEN U ASK ABOUT THIER RULES THEY JUST LOOK AT YOU LIKE THEY DONT KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT , BUT MOST OF YOUR GOOD BAYING HAS RULES YOU JUST NEED TO ASK FOR THEM , REALLY THEY SHOULD POST THEM.
