when i was in college the police called the arp house about 2 in the am , said their was a cow loose in a ritsy neighbor hood . 3 of us hauled ass , we caught her on foot and wrapped of to an expensive looking little tree . she pulled it up by the roots and drug us to the next tree , this one she broke off about waist high . we finally got her wrapped off on a fire hidrant , some how she had gotten a bycyclle, alittle red wagon, a rose bush and the 2 trees tangled in the rope . ;D them folks came out as we were loadin her and wanted to know who was gonna pay for the damage . :o we all looked at each other , kinda grinned and pointed at the cow >:D . i guess they thought we were out leading our cow around at 2 in the morning and she got unruly ;D ;D i'll rope the biggest old bull on a shetland pony but after getting drug through that rose bush i decided never to rope another cow on foot lol , i guess you could kinda say we came out smelling like a rose :angel: Title: Re: Texas Tech Range Horse Team Helps Catch Escaped Cows Post by: SCHitemHard on October 28, 2011, 07:21:22 pm guess i need to start wearin my hat more... popo

I roped a bull in McDonald's parking lot one time no shoes on my horse and we still sipped . I have been catching some pretty wild stuff here lately I take pictures with my phone and its hard to get them on here if someone can tell me a short cut I will post them.
