Title: pseudorabies !!! Post by: halfbreed on November 12, 2011, 09:31:07 am got a report from MAV last night that a freind of ours had a dog die from pseudorabies . came in contact with it in central texas . more info later after i call and get it first hand .

Post by: halfbreed on November 15, 2011, 08:53:44 pm don't know exact location . psuedorabies only becomes a problem to dogs when the hogs are stressed and are shedding the virus . the hog looked healthy according to my friend . but as a rule it's everywhere just one of those things that you never expect to happen . thats why it's not a good idea to buy and transport pigs all over the state to bay with . just be carefull out thar, there is no cure and the dogs that get infected will die in about 48 hrs . good luck is all we can hope for .
