Been looking at some ready made kennels for my move, these look a lot better than most i have seen but the 3 year warranty is kinda short for rust, Prefiert seems like rust out to quick nowdays as tons have been compalining online about it in texas and La, I looked at this website and am seriously thinking about the roofed version with sides and then setting them on top of a wooden deck with a huge slop so could powerwash them towards the back of the kennel on the ground.  What do you guys think of the welded wire ones on here?/  Is anybody using them or a dealer?  Seem kinda high to me and was wondering if they discount them any??  has anybody bought any new ready made kennels lately and installed them and have any tips or best places to buy them at??  I had a set of kennels i made up out of pvc 1 1/2 once and was wondering if anybody has seen any pvc kennels anywhere for sale.  I used to sell and install bolted 210 galazined tanks and i know the process is not as good anymore as it used to last forever.  I was thinking what other kinda of paint could a guy spray on them to help keep down rust frm urine on the bottoms, would it help to put 2 extra coats of galvanized paint on them as soon as got them set up or is it anything is going to rust pretty quick no matter what these days due to changes in process's??  How long do the chain link pannels from TSC last these days vs the Preiferts??  I still been thinking about using 4x4 gal pannels and steel square tubing and just put 5 coats of paint on it and let it go, i am going to be setting these kennels on top of wood deck if it makes any difference in rusting, i think the cement bottom slabs help them rust out as urine does not go straight thru vs the wooden boards letting it pass thru the cracks??  Thanks for any ideas and tips and links, does anybody have a bill of materials and a order of construction and price list like from Lowes so i could get somebody to put them in a pc and get crew to come out and build them turnkey??  Pens are going up in central florida for 10 dogs, currently i have been using dirt and 20x20 5 foot 4 inch square gal hog pannels with doors cut out of one pannel, they never rust but i got to have roof where i am going as no shade at all and close to coast so rains all the time vs here in the desert.  http://www.lbarmranch.com/Dog-Kennels-s/46.htm?searching=Y&sort=5&cat=46&show=24&page=2

lbarmranch dot com   I am trying to find websites with similar roofed galznied kennels, does anybody know who else makes them ready to set up on location with a roof out of the box??  Goal was to build a wooden deck to set some kind of ready made kennel down on top of them, has anybody ever found a set of plans for something like this??  I need them with roofs on top of the kennel, i not sure if Prefeirt makes them with roofs?? If there is a custom kennel builder on here from texas or florida please pm, am needing kennels in the groveland florida area,  am thinking about going to Lowes or Home depo and see if they can generate a set of plans with a bill of materials for just wood kennels and the 2x4 wire panels, is anybody on here a dealer for any kind of read made bo;t together kennel? Chain link might be the way to go i just not sure, it only rains 20 inches where i am vs 150 inches down there annually so rust is a big issue especially with the urnine from dogs on cement vs the metal kennel on a wooden deck so liquid waste can pass thru the cracks, I plan to powerwash down the kennels daily and need a slot in the rear so can blow them out towrds the rear and not stack up and rust, how about slope on the deck guys, whats the most extreme slope i could get away with??? Thanks for any tips or links etc etc in advance, when i found these guys i did not realize they were on the west coast so freight would prob be a killa, anybody know a custom kennel builder in Floridaa nd have pictures or a link??  One other thing, if i changed and went to a slab for the kennels what should the specs be for the thickness and rebar etc etc??  I been searching and find that the guarnatees on some of the ready made ones are worthless as they dont honor rusting out in 3 years on 10 year gurantee, is there anything i could paint them with before using them that would help them last??  i had a set of pvc 1 1/2 kennels at one time with chainlink that lasted forever but moved off and left them?

TSC has 10x10x6 kennels for $500 and then another $100 for a roof. they roof has to be bought seperate, but its a lot cheaper than $1400.

Thanks will go look, there is a TSC over there at Mascotte i think it is.  Anybody know if Prefirt makes a kennel with a roof prefab?  I rather try to get 2x4 wire pannel than chain link if possible but its not that big a deal.

Those kennels are for sure too high but i was just looking for pictures and ideas,so far i have found TSC kennels, Prefirt, and was wondering if Lowes or Home depo or some other lumber yard chain sells any kind of prefabed kennels or has plans for wooden ones they can come out and build??

http://www.tractorsupply.com/heavy-duty-welded-wire-kennel-10-ft-w-x-10-ft-l-x-6-ft-h-3606740 this is the kennel.
http://www.tractorsupply.com/kennel-roof-cover-kit-10-ft-x-10-ft--1012319 here is the roof.
them prefeit kennels r more expensive than most. the tsc kennel is a 2x4 welded wire, welded to the pipes. it can be put up with 1 person, but is easier with 2. they are fairly simple to put together. iv got 2 of these type kennels and they work good, but i got dogs that must b part hogs, bc they do their best to root/dig out. gonna try puttin limestone road base down and pack it, unless somebody has another idea.
here is what homedepot has to offer. http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?keyword=dog+kennels&langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053
here is what lowes hav to offer. http://www.lowes.com/pl_Outdoor+Kennels_4294816963_4294937087_?zipCode=76579&masthead=true&firstReferURL=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.lowes.com%2Fpl_Outdoor%2BKennels_4294816963_4294937087_%3FNs%3Dp_product_prd_lis_ord_nbr%7C0%7C%7Cp_product_qty_sales_dollar%7C1&catalogId=10051&findStoreErrorURL=StoreLocatorDisplayView&selectedLocalStoreBeanArray=%5Bcom.lowes.commerce.storelocator.beans.LocatorStoreBean%4031903190%2C+com.lowes.commerce.storelocator.beans.LocatorStoreBean%4032403240%2C+com.lowes.commerce.storelocator.beans.LocatorStoreBean%4032f032f0%2C+com.lowes.commerce.storelocator.beans.LocatorStoreBean%4033a033a0%2C+com.lowes.commerce.storelocator.beans.LocatorStoreBean%4034503450%5D&Ntt=&langId=-1&URL=TopCategoriesDisplayView&mastheadURL=TopCategoriesDisplayView&Ns=p_product_prd_lis_ord_nbr%7C0%7C%7Cp_product_qty_sales_dollar%7C1&storeId=10151

Thats what i was thinking to, you are saying that all 3 are selling the same kennel, they sure look the same, so then its just a matter of seeing who is cheapest and make sure the guarnatee is the same or they have not switched to lighter materials, there is some discussion on the web about prefietts rusting out beofre warranty and they wotnt make them good, anybody know what the warranty is on tsc kennels for materials??

Home Depot and Lowes have chain link. Get the welded wire from TSC and get some metal roofing and self tapping screws. You can add a piece of square tubing or two if you want. You would just need a ladder to screw through the top but they make screws with a rubber washer so they seal right up. If you want to pay $1500 a kennel I will go set up as many as you want ;D

Yea we are on same page thanks for confirming that, welded wire for sure is better than chain link and great idea about just screwing them down on top, jees, those lbm were like $500 just for 3 sheets of exta tin on top, thats way way too too higghhhhhhlol

I have 15  pens 20 x 20 5 foot high 4x4 square 2o foot long pannels set on the ground here at the ranch with tposts but the terriers dig out th eminute they want to so its a constant battle keeeping them in and raking up dung, sure easier and cleaner and faster to have them on wood and just blast waste to the end of the pen and on ground, plus no insects on woods like fleas hatching out as well, I have about 10 20 foot long 12 x 12 timbers i was going to use for deck base and put some kind of  2x6 or something cheap treated wood on top of them and then slap down what ever ready made kennel i can find, putting the tin on onesself like u mentioned is the way to go, see what i am trying to do is get them made over there so i can haul them from south texas and put them in a pen as soon as drive up on ranch, they fight like hell anyways and need to be in a pen until they are located on the new ranch, there is lots of cypress swap creeks full of gators near by like 400 yards so need one with bottom either cement or wood for sure so they dont end up eaten the first week they get out and wander to the water close bylol  snap snap a tasty terriershiskabob if i dont get it rightlol  I have one they has taught about 5 more how to dig or climb out the first time i stay overnight or some hog or coon comes up here to try toget into the self feeders i have hanging on the pannels. Thanks for the headf up!!

I have chaine link on dirt for now. I am always fixing them. I plan to move so I am not putting anything I can't move in the yard. I am going to change all my kennels to welded wire because I can move them. Lay some welded wire or even chicken wire if the dogs are smaller 2-3 flat on the ground and put dirt on over it. They will stop digging and back up. I have not had a dog dig all the way under it yet.
