Title: Wierd but cool
Post by: djhogdogger on November 28, 2011, 03:48:34 pm

I cant believe it but a friend of ours is actually cutting hay today! I mean good, lush, green jiggs hay. He will be baling it the first of Dec.!  ??? ...and that isn't all. He has some more fields that have shot up after all of the rain. It was horrble all summer with the drought but now we are getting rain and sunshine.  ;D Which is great because he wasn't able to put any hay up in his own barns due to the huge demand all summer.

Its a first for me. I never thought that I would see the peak of hay season in winter. This may be one for the record books.
