Title: Short Solo Hunt
Post by: D.R.Stuart on December 20, 2011, 11:47:48 am
I took Britches and Trouble out to look for hog sign since Deer season just went out. They ended up baying up a couple of sows I shot one that would go around 100lbs. and the other one broke and went across a creek about 100 yds. before the dogs shut her down. I ended up wading the creek "about chest deep" and got to the bay. When I got to them she charged me but my 40 cal. caught her before she got to me. I didn't put her on scales but she was definetly the biggest sow I've got to date. If she didn't didn't weigh 200lbs. she wasn't far from it. Good hunting....Denny(http://i1188.photobucket.com/albums/z404/drstuart8/IMG_20111213_160536.jpg)
