Title: i got a hippopotamus for Christmas Post by: T-Bob Parker on December 21, 2011, 01:28:33 pm Condensed version of a long story I just went and picked up a "pit" from a lady who's fallen on hard times and what was described on the phone didnt exactly line up with what's now begging for my burger on the way to the kennels. :D :D

Looks like a blue pit English cross to me. I'll definitely put her to work if she's got it in her, as well as getting rid of all the excess fat, BUT, its just amazing to me what people refer to as pit bulls. She looks like the only dog she could roll are the Oscar Mayer variety. ;D

I've got a pair of Anderson Beans that she is shorter than. She is smaller than my sisters mini aussie. She is built like an English bulldog, with a pit head.
More important than that is just the fact that she doesn't have a mean bone. She has been shown pigs everyday so far and still tucks tail and run away. |
