Title: Caddo tx Boar Post by: BadBoar30 on December 22, 2011, 05:21:29 pm Me and Trey aka Weller44 took some new guys hunting on a place in caddo. It was a hog heaven type of place and was THICK! I brought dogs: rebel, deuce, heidi, and Tex. and Trey brought his cd Tyson. Most of treys dogs are on the IR from the past big boars. Hoping to have all of them back soon.
We made a short round and the dogs left out immediately. Soon we heard them open up but they couldn't get him stopped in that thick brush. Finally they stopped him in a pond at 1000 yards. We drove to within 250 of them and walked in closer. Cut the bulldogs loose and caught him right in the middle of this freezing cold Tank. Trey thought about swimming it but once the water reached the important stuff he decided not to lol. We rand around a tank dam and finally got to the pig. A newbie stuck him. It was overall a great hunt and they loved it.
