Title: Few Hunt's This Week! Post by: Handle_It on January 09, 2012, 08:49:09 am Started off Monday night about 8:30 kicked em out to rode and within a couple min they struck
off a smalller boar. Rolled out after that one had a bay few times, but lost it. (http://i1125.photobucket.com/albums/l591/corywiggins22/DSC_2828.jpg) Thursday Night went out to Geronimo kicked out walked for about hour and a half, and finally struck off this good boar, only the catch got cut a couple times. Not to bad (http://i1125.photobucket.com/albums/l591/corywiggins22/DSC_2862.jpg) (http://i1125.photobucket.com/albums/l591/corywiggins22/DSC_2866.jpg) (http://i1125.photobucket.com/albums/l591/corywiggins22/DSC_2872.jpg) Saterday Night went about 6:30 over to Zorn walked about 10 min they struck off another smaller boar stopped pretty quick, drug it to the truck was a good drag back loaded up the dogs and still had one left my black dog briar he was about 600 and he struck off again turned everything but the catch from truck and they had it stretched. He is half plott 1/8 walker 3/8 bmc just about a year and a half old think. Great dog is going to be one to be reckoned with. Tshelly - yeah same dog in back of truck.

The red dog was a redbone/curr from up around brownwood. When we went out saterday that was his last hunt, some things went wrong and he didnt make it. Damn Good Dog!! Am glad ole Briar is doing good for you he was doing very good for me also . I raised him from a pup got him started and trained him with my dogs just brought out what was already in him but my buddy T.H. is the man that bred those dogs and deserves the big time credit he is a damn damn good hog dogger and been at it for years. All the dogs in that liter are finding there own hogs and doing great every one of them . Those types of dogs are the dogs being crossed into my line as we speak. Your a lucky man .
