Dont know much about Catahoulas.Will the spotted ones make better dogs?Just wonderin since they cost more.Sure is a good looking bunch of pups.How big will they get?

no the spotted ones dont make a better  dog  ;) they are going to be around 75 pound dogs ,,+ or -.
 we have 2 black females 2 black males and 2  merels i myself have solids color dogs  the male Trippz (avatar) queen red bitch ,ginger red gyp,,, as for the  merels or as i say it the chromed out one just bring more...  i will discount 50 off  on the second ,third ... so on ect

    with catahoulas you never know what your going to come out with,,we breed for working ability,conformation and disposition.color(chrome bling flash) ,,,, now i like one chromed out like katies dog she got i called him hollywood on left in picture..

Lil Bling (Hollywod) bayed a pig yesterday. 
we put him with our 2 bmc/lacy cross pups and they all bayed.
He should make a heck of a dog. All these pups should.
Today we are buildin a better bay pen, and I will see if we can get some pics of him.

 good to hear that lil bling is doing good for you, that lacy, we got from you is  fitting in great here with  the catahoulas and Lynne..
wished we was a  tad bit closer  id come help build that bay pen with yall,,
 as it is today  iam hoeing around in the garden grrrrr whats left after freeze,and freaking ,blowing sand, sand blasting the young plants  then the rabbits also eating thier  fill ...i am going rabbit murdering tonight.. i am going to lay on the tank dam with the ole trusty 30 06 and do some jack rabbit and cotton tail splattering
 then in my spare time  brakes on the  truck starter on my lil hunting whooptie work on chicken pens then will i am resting i gotta figure out why my 4 wheeler wont start..
    then again hmmmmm beer bait fishing does sound good too :laugh: >:D

I will have to say I raise Cats, and have never had a full blooded cat come out solid much less solid black.
 Pretty pups anyway.

i have had  ones that was solid grey red black  and every spot  that you can think of  its pretty vool at whelping time

hey i understand Chance, i am thinng down i have 2or3 YBM  coming next weeknd that are a lil older pups to start,,i think the guy said they are 8 months or so  he might take 1m and  1f  so ill  be doing good i plan on going hunting in crossplains monday on a removal job so ill have some  to start with ,, and if my plans work out the way i want ill have about a 10 acre traing pen set up in about a month,,
 ill be doing what i like working with young dogs ,, give me a call when you get a chance

If we weren't so far apart I would take all the Black ones.
They should turn out great.  I like black Catahoulas also.

I would be all over one of them black ones as well. If anyone is headed toward dallas from that way let me know

  i know that has got to get to you selling your dogs  i had to do that about 9 years ago after a really bad wreck .. "couldnt take care off them"" i know that it sucks

i got help to get restarted its one of those pass it along things

thanks brother.......i'll be back at it in late December or early January.    i'm gonna try and get a couple finished catahoulas around then.  a good started dog and a young pup.  that way by the time i get the started dog trash broke and hopefully striking the pup will be ready to start.

with all the dogs i've hunted with i really like catahoulas and bmcs.  the ones i've seen hunt weren't real rangey, which could get me in trouble with the places i have to hunt. 

i like the looks of that black dog in your avatar good build to him.

we got our bay pen finished.
we put Hollywood  in with our two bmc/lacy cross pups. ((all around 4 months old))
They did a great job. They pretty much got up in his face.

ok  we are back from a slow cold windy fishing trips that produced about 150 crappie  6-9 inches and 2 keepers i threw back this am
 decided to head home before the storms,,,,, storms are not any fun in a tent
