I won't list any names per forum rules but if you are looking to buy a dog around the Corsicana area call or txt me first. I was sold a gyp as a burn up the woods near finished gyp with a 30day trial also bought pups as registered pups. This deal went down around Dec 15. I was told the puppy papers haven't came in yet I would be mailed them when they came in I have yet to see the puppy papers. Guy seemed honest enough and does work with the local youth group at the church. Well the gyp enjoys hunting horses chickens skunks etc. Not what I was buying. I have been attempting to set up a return on the gyp over a month. He was having some financial difficulties at the time so I agreed to keep her a little longer so he could get the money together and not put him and his family in a bind. Well Thursday I contacted him again making sure that this Saturday was still a go he said yes I told him ok see you around 10am. He said ok buddy. Well here I sit in Corsicana at chilies writing this because the ranch I picked the gyp up at is abandoned and he will not answer his phone. His wife doesn't know where he is or when he will be back. I've left voicemails no answers and no response to txt. Sorry I'm being long winded bit I needed to vent a little we drove 4hrs one way to bring her back and now have nothing but a wasted day and a trashy dog. There was a recent post on here about a similar situation. Guy took the fellow to court and won. Someone on here should be able to find the post. Seems like in was a month or two ago.

i know the feeling ive bought at least 3 dogs over the last month an they were all garbage just gotta b careful.. dont know any way to sniff a crook out or we wouldnt get stiffedon these dogs

Did y'all hunt these dogs before you bought them?

 Well i bought one to but i worked the dog in his pen and now that the kennel is gone so is most of that bloodline.I didnt get papers on my pup but hes turned out to be a jam up dog a little disappointed hes not registered but papers dont catch hogs.Have you contacted NALC to see if papers are filed?

No I didn't hunt the dog before I bought her. I would not have bought her without a trial either way. I live 4 hours away from where the dog was located and he was selling several dogs the same day. The setup looked legit had his church youth group come out and bayed a bunch of dogs in the pen and let several people look at them in the pen. Told us he does a 30day trial on any dog he sells. Just let him know how she does etc. If he didn't have so many people coming out he would be happy to hunt them with us. I would imagine he sold 20+ dogs that day just while I was there. I attempted to contact him since we were suppose to bring her back and he still says he's going to be a man of his word and get me my puppy papers and refund the money for the dog. I've been hearing that since I first contacted him so how true it is we will have to see. I won't hold my breath. Does anybody know if I can acquire the parents of my puppies name and registration number if I can get their papers myself?

Yes usually when you say your selling out you sell a lot of dogs quick. popo I.didn't say he sold 20 finished or started or even pen dogs. I said he sold 20 dogs he had a couple litters of pups on the ground out of three different gyps. Lots of pups moved a few pen dogs and a couple woods dogs. So yeah like I said he seemed legit for someone that was wanting to sell out.

I bought a gyp from that man also the first 30 days she wouldn't do anything, same thing called and text said he would meet me then back out, well now she has started to hunt a little, in the last 6 hunts she's struck 4 hogs, but if he would have been a man of his word she wouldn't have made it 2 weeks.

Same here she may end up turning into a dog, she has the potential to be turned into a dog if she is hunted behind some good dogs and taught what to do and that were not chasing livestock etc. Like NEhunter said if he was a man of his word she wouldn't still be here I didn't buy her to add to the list of dogs I have to train and hunt behind other dogs I bought her so I could hunt her in front of my dogs to help me finish them out.

There sure is a pretty ad on page 14 of Januarys bayed solid that says located in Corsicana, Tx. :o I hope thats not saying to much......Denny
