But they talked about how big they could get and different ways of controling them. they showed the use of dogs, traps, and hunting them. But they did also make these hogs seem alot worse than they really are. I mean the way they were talking on this show was like it is NOT uncommon to come across a 700 lb boar hog with "tusk like an elephant" so they said. it was a good show but they kinda made hogs seem like they were the bigfoot monster in the woods or sumthin

They showed some footage of dog hunts, and portrayed it in a positive sense, as one of the most effective means of catching hogs. But they did make hogs seem a little more vicious than they are.

Title: Re: PIG BOMB(on discovery channel) Post by: Hogdoggin51 on March 27, 2009, 12:12:12 am i thought it was great. it really doesnt matter how they portray hogs, the meaner the better. we know what hog hunting is about, but the lay person does not. hopefully landowners who dont know alot about hogs or hog doggin are now willing to let dog hunters go out and catch some pigs. I thought it put a positive light on our style of hunting and hopefully we all can get more land access because of it.

They need more shows like this that are not making hunters out to be evil. lol
