Title: Track stars.
Post by: DARDEN on February 14, 2012, 10:49:09 pm
Man my cousin my buddy and myself decided we were gonna go try our luck last night after the rain sleet and snow the day before. We were gonna hit my buddies family place where we new there were some sprinters. We drove around dogs hunting good while we were lookin for fresh sign. Looked on the garmin and our little lacy loma was rolling out in a hurry with our cat gyp right behind her. They go to 800 and bay solid so we head to em in the mule. We stop to listen loma and cat go to a mile and bay solid again. Pigs broke again and straight out ran us. If it wasnt for bad luck id have none at all. Just frustrated and had to vent. Thanks for reading.

Man that's not bad luck, that's just hog hunting.  Bad luck woulda been y'all going out and not even cutting a track.  At least the dogs got some experience and they'll be better for it next time.

Oh i agree on the hunting part. But we cannot seem to get one on the ground at this particular place. There is sign everywhere they just keep their track spikes on daily i guess. They will bay up a couple times for not very long and then they are out of there.
