Title: another dog peddling thief!
Post by: josh54 on February 27, 2012, 03:47:46 pm
he is a member me this board from tyler texas. i offered a trade of my boat, which was the last thing of value i had to trade for a decent dog, for a supposed almost finished bmc. i shouldn't have but i trusted the guy and i got it good and ran it in the woods and it never left my feet. well we caught a pig and he would bark from a distance but wouldn't come close. now i know i'm not supposed to cash someone on here but he was just tryin to sell a plott for 1200 i texted him and he deleted it shortly after. by the was the number was disconnected. idk why people have to take advantage of people that trust them. now i have no way to get a dog to run with my old dog. im tryin to keep huntin but now don't gotta dog to keep goin with if i loose mine. this guy is a sorry sob and has no morals. i'm just blowing off steam but i really hope no one falls for this guys tricks. cuz i spent a lot of money on that boat and now i got nothing to show for it except a mad wife. thanks for reading happy huntin and beware of the 903 area code. they aren't all bad but he has went through 4 different ones since friday so i trust none of them

If you want to PM everyone and their momma the guys name, then do so. Don't come on here and publicly post their name, phone number, address, etc...

Hey man, I have no idea where merkel is, but if you're close enough, you can borrow my dog(s) , or we can go hunt.  I'm sorry to hear you got burnt.  I'd like his name too in a pm if you don't mind.  I'm close to Tyler, and don't want this to happen to me.

In another post you claimed that you also were hunting, a gyp in heat also!  That could be the problem!!  I hope you didn't get burned.  Yes you should of at least hunted with the dog prior to the trade.  If you didnt hunt with the dog you dont even no how he hunted the dog.  Lots of dogs take time to warm up to a new person.  Be carefull who you bash, it could come back and bite.

I know what's done is done, but where did you pick the dog up from? If it was from his house he has some serious balz. If you met him at an alternate location you have now been educated unfortunately. Thanks for sharing though

i said i was just bein sarcastic about the 903 sorry if it offended anyone. but anyways apparently the subject of this post read it and really wants me to take it off. so if you are reading this post just know i will not go back on anything i have said until you fix it cuz all of what i have said has been true. and if you wanna fix it then you need to call me since you 'lost you phone' which for some reason that made you get a new number? and since your only calling withheld you have to call me. and by the way since your the one who tried screwing me over if your gonna fix it then you will be driving my stuff back here. i refuse to spend another 100 dollars in diesel to get back my things which i traded for this worthless dog

I totally agree with the 903 area code, BEWARE!  I'm not saying everyone with 903 is bad either, but i have had some suspicious experiences with people calling from this area code.  there are sorry peices of number 2 everywhere.  for people who are naturally trusting we have to make an effort to remind ourselves not to trust strangers.   the sad fact of the matter is that most people are not trustworthy.

It is always best to meet people somewhere besides your house too.  what goes around comes around.  I have seen with my own eyes in the most revealing, and even almost unbelievable ways, but you shall reap what you sow.  Maybe not tomorrow, maybe not next year, but if you serve someone a sandwhich that is 90 percent terds, and 10 percent ham, and call it a ham sandwhich, the day will come when you eat nine number 2 sandwhiches that you thought were ham sandwhiches.

written in stone, take it to the bank.

I gotta stick up for my area code here guys!  ;D Born and raised in Greenville, Tx!!! I'm an honest guy, and never done anyone wrong. Matter of fact, I do everything in my power to help most people I meet if I can. I take how my name is viewed very seriously, and I expect that if someone has had a problem with me, for them to come and talk to me about it like a man. I don't think it has anything to do with the area code... JMO I've talked with, and dealt with a few people on this board, and I'm sure they will all tell you the same. When I say something I noramlly will do what I say... unless something off the wall gets in the way. Sucks that ya'll are having so many problems getting screwed over with dogs... But if this thread isn't a lesson to people wanting to buy dogs then I don't know what is. Know who you are doing business with, and if you can't know them try talking with someone that does. If you can't do that, then you may want to find someone else to get the dog from. There are too many people that have really good dogs to get screwed over by someone that doesn't... JMO Hope ya'll can figure it out... best of luck!

I don't think we can get too mad at you for warning an area code if the number keeps changing. If someone gets mad well he can't go back and change his post because that feature was removed.

I have some free pups with a money back guarantee ;D I hope you get the joke there. They are in the dog trade if you find someone to hall them you can have as many as you want. A dog from down the road that is not used for hunting is the daddy so it is a gamble. I am happy to give them to anyone that is not a dog trader. If they turn out to be pot lickers don't want to see them for sale. rolleyes
