What extra do yall carry while hunting down thr? We catch some up here with some around 1 and 3 and once a little over four inchers.. I would like to catch a hog in about 50 counties before it all said and done. I like the challenge of hunting different country and getting see different parts of the state.

We use to lease 5000 acres between Rotan and Jayton, in my opinion it is the nicest part of the state. I LOVE the caprock country and river bottoms. Our place had a TON of diversity, both sides of the Double Mountain Fork of the Brazos, canyon country and about 1200 acres of shin oak grass land. Mule deer, white tail, hogs, quail, turkey you name it was there in large numbers and size!

He has a hog bust him pretty good from the blind side every now and then but he still manages ok. I lost count years ago of all the hogs we have caught with that old dog and Im thankful I still have him. |
