Title: Broken Bones Post by: TinyTexasCowgirl on February 27, 2012, 09:10:34 pm Well, Pete broke his left Tibia Sunday morning. Not sure how. Took him to ye vet, they casted it and said no activity for 2-3 weeks.
So of course we all had to sign his cast. Our little house dog Witch broke the same leg just like yours same cast everything . We kept her off it and helped her do everything for five six weeks they even put a pin n her leg . After six weeks doc said she done great and all heal even better. Just keep him still no moving around its a pain in the butt . Good luck

When our gyp had to wear one, we saw the vet often, it would slip down, had to shave her back and put elasticon around the splint and then around her back and stomach to hold it up. Good luck
