Title: Weekend in the hills... Post by: Mike on March 06, 2012, 05:44:23 pm LionandBoarHunter, ETHHunters, hillcountry and myself hunted the Los Cazadores contest on a beautiful ranch out near Camp Wood over the weekend. While we didn't catch the "mountain donkeys" we were looking for, we did end up with around 15 hogs caught.
I know one thing... leading a bulldog up a mountain in the middle of the night, amongst the cedar, mountain laurel, pinion pine, cactus and rocks flat out sucks!!! :o Good friends, good food and good times... doesn't get any better than that. Never was a dull moment and I think we were laughing the whole weekend. I agree with Mike those are not the best conditions for hunting with bulldogs but they didn't seem to mind too much. I look forward to hunting with you guys again.

I had a blast fellers wish y'all lived closer! It was a great weekend dogs were I'n hogs the hole time with lots of action Saturday night I thought we were goin to hav to air lift mike off the mountain thought Timmy was goin to hav to do mouth to mouth !! Yall are welcome to come hunt with us anytime the foreman allready called wantiung us to get back in there. He wanted to know who that guy with the pretty mouth was? I told him TTTT TIMMY!!. I guess we should have took a picture of those hills. I enjoyed the bulldogs they caught hard and had exallent handles on them it almost made me want one again but the hills we hunt are bulldog grave yards in the long run.

Post by: hillcountry on March 07, 2012, 06:52:43 pm I have to finish that story back when i had my card me and my hauling partner were layed up in austin waiting on the short round we both came back in the bulls and we were at a bar that had a birdcage hanging from the cealing thier were two of the best looking girls i have ever seen kissing and macking down it was quite a show my buddy stuck his head between the bars and flicked his toung at them and on of them kicked him in the face it was the funnyest thing ive ever seen.
