Title: Kentucky hogs? Post by: dub on March 16, 2012, 04:25:20 pm I may be looking to move to Kentucky near Louisville. The first thing I look at is hog hunting because I am not moving anywhere I can't catch pigs. But the law talks about some part of the state some hunter released pigs so they don't let anyone hunt there. But I have no idea where that is. So I am hoping someone lives up there that is on here. If I live near Louisville are there hogs and can i catch them?

I would think the answer would be Blueticks or Plotts.

Ft.Cambell area supposed to have a few. If your used to gettin on hogs you won't like Ky. Or ohio or Wv. Very spotty hard to find huntable sign.

It seems there is a lot for me to hunt. But I am not going for sure. If I do I could a hog removal service so I get called to where the hogs are ;D

There a few places to hunt hogs in KY but not many. And it's a few hours from Louisville to any of those places. So if you love the dogs and the hog hunting might want to consider elsewhere. I love the dogs so much that while I was there I bought walkers and coon hunted 7 nights a week. Plenty of that there!
