->some advice i already have gotten<-
-> some guys say a muzzle but what good will that do when she gets to the hog she want be able to bay
-> some guys say to shock her when she does it... well tried it twice and all she does is come off the track and come runnin back to me
-> some say to keep her and keep putting her in the bay pen and start takin her to bay trials and make some money off her and i could sell here at those trials and make alot of money off her... draw back-> want to keep the dog love her to death but there is no interest in bay trials for me love the thrill of being in the woods on them big hogs
-> some say use her for a rig/hood/strike dog ...draw back-> she dont seem interested in that iu feel like she is still a little young

Sounds like you covered everything I would have said.  Does this dog run alone or with another dog?  The reason I ask is I had a dog do the same thing as soon as I found a dog that would run with him (that wasn't open) he quit barking on track.  Hopefully shes going through a phase and will grow out of it.

My 0.02

Some dogs will quiet down with age. Some wont.

By trying to make her quiet you are probably just going to mess her up.  I shock dogs just like what you mentioned to break them off of deer.

Myself, if I like the dog, I would keep it and hunt it and accept it for what it is. I hunt some open dogs and dont have any problems.  You dont have to have a silent dog to catch hogs. I hunt in the same state as you. ;)

If you cant deal with it. Find somebody that doesnt mind.

I am carolina hunter too.  We have a dog that is open and catch plenty with her.  We have dogs that are closed too.

Hunt her like she is as long as it doesnt affect the others dogs preformance.

You can try and hunt her by herself. We had a young dog that did that because she thought she was getting left behind.  Hunted her by herself  a little and she improved.

PigSnatcher is right.  Got a couple that have to just get some season on them and they will start tightening up as long as they are run with silent dogs.  Just keep them in the woods and they will either get better or worse with the mouth, either way they will get better at finding hogs.
