I've got three of them...have a double blade fold knife I like it a lot....one of them roper's knives with the little button that you push up and the blade unfolds quick....and I have a bigger one...kinda looks like a steak knife with out the serated edge....all of them hold their edge very well I like them a lot....I have never used them to kill a pig but I have used all three to help gut and skin quite a few.

In my opinion this is one of the best knives you can buy they hold a good edge and it does'nt take all weekend to get it sharp i've been carring a Moore Maker for years this is the one I am carring now.

Have one of every model they ever made, Great product, but even better customer service.

Years ago, like an idiot, I left one sitting on the tool box of the truck. :-[
I drove into town and made a turn, I heard it slide across the tool box, but it did not occur to me what the sound was.
Got back home later and realized it was not in my sheath.
!!!!!!!! I remembered the sound, drove back into town, found it lying in the street.
Had to pry it out of the asphalt with a screwdriver, both sides of handle broken, and bent all to heck.
Mailed it back with a note explaining what had happened, and to fix/replace it and send me a bill.
9 days after I placed it into the mail, I recieved a box from them, with a note signed by the old man himself.
The note read "Thank you for your honesty, please accept this replacement, and come see us sometime, God Bless."

I have since heard the the old man has passed, but I will continue to buy and use thier products as long as they can be bought.

They are good knives and made in Texas.  USA Feedyards sent my grandpa this moore maker as a consolation for being in the cattle feeding business for the past few years :(.  I jokeingly call it my money maker knife.  He doesn't carry a pocket knife any more so I am putting it to use.  I Almost lost it once..... I was cutting up some cut bait and left it on the back bumper of my truck and did'nt realize untill I got out 6 miles later at a gas station but it was still on the bumper....talk about luck.  The metal emblem fell out and I lost it, maybe I can order a new one.  The sheath is hand made rawhide by some one locally I baught it in Kurten. I was high priced but very well made.
