Title: Woohoo...they are finally here!!!! Ridgeback litter born today!!!!(PICS) Post by: kbar on April 16, 2012, 10:19:26 pm We had 10 live pups born today. 3 girls and 7 boys...this is our first litter of 3/4 african blood and 1/4 amirican blood!!!! We are very excited to see how these guys and girls turn out!!!! Here are some pics of the parents and of the pups!!!

JEFF- Colton seems to think that every puppy out there is his...so he was helping us with feeding them(putting puppy food in the box out of the gyps food bowl) and holding them so we could take pics :) Hes a lot of help...lol Title: Re: Woohoo...they are finally here!!!! Boodrow has been bred twice and both times thrown some black where there should have been none so. How did yalls pit/ridgebacks end out working. I have a litter on the ground now that I hope turn out well.

purebreedcolt- The pit ridgebacks turned out great!!!! We kept a male that is in the pic with sterk till he was a lil over a year and had him going strong....nothing but catch!!! and he caught hard too....He was leggy and long so he could run pretty quick and didnt favor the pit at all....just had a lil bit of there stubbornness and mindset when it came to braking him off stuff...but did well....but we were running 2 other rcds at the time and he was having to catch on the nose all the time so we decided to sell him and wait to keep some full blooded pups....but he could run all day and night and never get hot....he tolerated the heat great...and we hunt of horses, on foot, and road em and he kept up great!!!! I have not seen that. Man i wish i was closer. I have a nice Female that hunts and handles good. Good luck with them and i hope they all work out great for you. .
