They keep u n the race and can help weed out slacking dogs. I had what I thought was a pretty good dog, was at every bay working her butt off then the garmin showed her loafing around and sitting always about 150 yds from me tl she heard a bay........she was given ample opportunity is all I have to say about that.

Post by: crackae11 on April 23, 2012, 10:44:31 pm Well I got it cuz my gyp is silent and will disapear and I only run 2 dogs now I'm gettin back in game from years before having to give up dogs boat mud trucks etc. Well I've got 2 good dogs and up and comer pups and baby pup , anyways my gyp will get on trail and silent as can be and can't. Quite stop hog alone in these damn palms. So I sit there callin waitin on here for 20 min wonderin if she's been laid up or hurt and no clue where she is. My biggest fear right there got to much in my dogs not to have um on gps and finally got the cash thanks to my gyps litter of 11 pups ;D

Keep extra batteries and pay attention to the battery type u have it set for. There are a few other tweaks u will figure out with it........oh!! And don't forget to turn the collar on!!!...
