Alright... who has tats? Where did you get em from? and why? Judge if you must I guess... it doesn't change what type of person I am.  ;)

My right leg... I had one of my best friends J Bone do all my work. He works in Quinlan at Ink City now. Been tating on me for past 6 years. i cant get pics of my back, but its mostly inked up. still thinking of new thing that i can do myself.

Man I sure like  looking at nice tattoos, but I dont have any. I always look through the tattoo magazines at the book store, just cuz I really appreciate the artistic ability. Im not opposed to getting any, but so far the only worthwhile thing I have thought of to be on my body forever is my kid's names. Those will never change or go away. I always think about cool things to get inked, then change my mind or talk myself out of it. Also, I think with my personality, if I got one, I would be sleeved up in no time flat. So for now, I just stay away.

That is why the guy I have tattooin' me is one of my best friends, but has also been doing it for almost 7 years straight. He has also known me along time and knows my personality. We were talking one day, and he was saying he wanted to do it for a living... And I gave me my opinion, being the person I am, and he is still doing it and even more now. Designing and free drawing and painting; he is really a  talented guy. Here is some of my wife's work.

Monty, dont take this the wrong way, but those tats are awesome in the most redneck kind of way. My father in law raised game birds all his life but gave them up when they became outlawed here in OK. I wish I would have been around him in those times because from  his stories it sounds like a heck of a good time!! Shows a mans true passion when he gets something like that inked on him for life. Very Nice!!!!

Ryan, I was friends with a wife that lost her husband, but it was also the day that I honestly realize what I was getting into by being with Maurice. He was at work when it happened, and I hadn't heard from him in a couple of days... Of you work oilfield, or know someone who does, you can ask em and they will tell you, oilfield isn't a job, it's a family. Lots of people have forgotten those guys but I never will.

Well that's really selfless of you to do! Good stuff! It's an insight to your character...  :) May they RIP.

TinyTexasCowgirl - My step dad and his brother worked on that rig (directional drillers). My step dads brother should have been out there at the time of the accident, but had taken some time off for some for some Dr. appts. My step dad worked the opposite hitch, but had worked with and was close to several of the guys involved in the accident. He has a decal of your tattoo on his truck. Like you, those guys will never be forgotten by my step dad or his brother because they were like family.

Deep South, my best friend's husband was supposed to be out there too. He was one of the BP rep safety guys. It really shook everyone up.

The truck decal is where I got the base idea for my tattoo, but I didn't like the tribal band under the cross, so changed it to water. Planning on adding a little more water, decided that after he was done and he didn't have time that day.

The wife just got this worked on twice in two weeks... 2 sessions 6 days apart at 3 hrs a piece to finish coloring this in. My buddy is going to enter it in some competitions at a convention this weekend.

Wow, I was told tatooies are sensitive, but to that point?? Again, I have been to Texas and met lots of nice people. Just all them cowboy hats and pick up trucks not my thing. Not enough foreign cars there. Otherwise it was nice to see a Rodeo in real time.

Ryan, I just voiced my opinion about tatoos, did not insult anyone. All I said was that for those in jail or those that have spend lots of time in jail, it is understandable to have tatoos. Other people are only following a trend or wanting to shar some message that no one cares about.
