Title: Caught hog Post by: Hog stalker on April 15, 2009, 08:47:09 am A friend of mine called me night before last and asked me if I thought I could get a hog out of his hay field that had been in there rootin, he said he thought it was a big sow with pigs, I told him I bet we could if she was still in there. The next night me and muleman loaded up and made the short ride over there and picked the guy up and met with two more guys that just wanted to go see our dogs work and we were off, when we got to the property he took us in the direction that he had been seeing most of the sign in and we walked in there about 900 yards crossed a creek bridge and I headed right but noticed that my find dog skipper mulemans find dog bluedick and the new addition red and the help dogs all peeled off to the left up a fence row that was full of briars. They had been gone about 2 min when I heard skipper strike then red then bluedick and heard some good grunting it was on, we went runnin in their direction and got about 30 yards from the bay and decided even though they already had her caught that since it was so thick in there that we would go ahead and send the catch dog I followed Biggon in and legged her up, me and the land owner sent her to piggy heaven, and I had a come to jesus meetin with the dogs about rollin out to look for her pigs, every thing worked out good the land owner which is a friend of mine was happy that she wasn't gonna be rootin in his hay pasture anymore and all dogs worked good, I enjoyed the hunt and the good visiting among friends, and to top it all off the little walker dog I got on here for sale finally got to put his teeth on a hog and looked really good doin it.
