i dont think ive seen this post before so lets try it now... lets hear where the strangest place you had caught a hog  is and if u got pics post them as well.... I will post pics of mine after work but we caught one right on the beach front next to a old broken down shrimp boat... owner says he saw him there every day lol cut the dogs lose at the peir and bayed him up right outside the boat 20 yards from the bay lol.. never caught a pig in the beach  but it was interesting..

A buddy bayed and caught one in a dead cow pit.  She stunk to high heaven.  We bayed one inside of a dead cow for just a minute it broke out of there but didn't make it far lol.  No pictures the one we were at was on me and the wifes honeymoon

nice i bet that pig had some rank on it lol... i aint never caught one there but i though the beach was pretty odd lol

the dogs ran a hog for about 15 minutes and they overshot the track for a little while and they double backed and the hog went into an old barn...the hog ran back out and they caught him about 75 yards from the barn in a slough...

didnt do it with dogs but when i was in high school i had a 25 pound shoat in the pen at my grandparents which is about 100 yards from out church. my shoat go out and went to the cemetery and i caught him with a dipnet. we named him john the baptist

I've caught them in dead pits before and that isnt a good smell. I've caught em out of a dead cow, under a shed, colverts, and in old house's out in the pastures. It's pretty intense going into an old house at night with dogs baying an catching a hog! Lol

Man hope they are baying a hog and not a ghost in that old house.  We used to hunt a place with an old house and it always freaked me out I didn't like it lol.

We caught one that tried running from us in a backyard in the middle of a neighborhood about 1.5-2 miles from where we struck him

Caught a sow underneath my truck one time! Seen some hogs after a rain an turned dogs out on em and they made about 400yd loop and crossed road right wher i parked! She ran under it and dogs caught her under driver side door

dogs had one bayed in a big drainage pipe one time

I have a small hunny hole right next to a buyer and have caught one right at the buyers door..

caught one about 50 yards from a cemetary solid 200 pound sow.

There's plenty of hogs at Wal-Mart, just not the kind you want to catch!!!  ;D

thts a good hog and a strange place to catch one i guess it wanted to go grocery shppin befor you caught it lol

We cought one in a hole about 10 ft deep and only big enough for one person to crawl  into at the top head first,The Other hunters had to pull me out by my ankles with the dog's latched on the hog. Crazy night.

In someones front yard another time. They had quit the show and never expected that to happen.

I love the Wal-mart Hog. Great post. That has to be a awesome story.

That is a awesome story. Your dog's did great with all the distractions.. I bet you were proud. The homeless guy was probably crapping his pants and moved after.lol!

one of my buddys caught one in an old house. i caught one in a cave, and one in a culvert. i didnt like goin in that culvert let me tell you

i caught a big fat sow at cowtown in north side one night , lol

i hear ya monty  ;) my buddy caught a big sow on the beach late one night when we were in our 20's .

he legged her , flipped her , and stuck her   rolleyes  and damned if she wouldnt leave him alone for the rest of spring break  .... every since then i've been afraid of the " biguns "  ;D

Hunted just outside Seguin one night and bayed up two boars on an Old man's  porch  at 1am. He was not a happy camper to say the least.
