Title: Quick Sat. Hunt Post by: Arkansan on April 21, 2009, 09:55:24 pm Me an my Buddy went on a quick sat. afternoon hunt in the rain. First time I actually got some pics of the Bay and the catch. Didnt hunt but for a total of maybe 2 hours and got 4 hogs. They aint the biggest, but it was a fun hunt.

Hunt Post by: Arkansan on April 21, 2009, 10:30:09 pm Yeah these are some Arkansas hogs. Most of the time where we hunt is either river bottom, slou, or hilly woods. It does make for some difficult walking alot. You can't really get around on nothin but on foot or on horseback.

Ive always wanted to run dogs on hogs just once in my life when I didnt have to change clothes(or should have at least) to drive home. Ive seen hog rooting at over 5000 feet on Clingmans Dome in the Smokey Mountains. Could you imagine? No slews or boggs up there I wouldnt think. It wore me out just driving to the top though.lol. Yeah that would be crazy huntin on somethin like that.
