Title: Anyone using an Ontario Knife (Rat line) for hog hunting? Post by: Cutter Bay Kennels on June 04, 2012, 04:26:34 pm I'm looking for a new knife with a nice Molle sheath. The Rat 5 or Rat 7 look interesting.

Post by: Purebreedcolt on June 04, 2012, 05:07:38 pm I don't have the rats but I do have a spec plus and it is a good knife haven't used it on a pig seldom kill one but have chopped some wood with it and it holds a edge good. I would recommend ontario given my limited experience with mine

I looked at one the other day and wondered how it would work for a hog knife. Half the price of the Ontario knife. Not sure if upturned blade would be pain though. John
