Title: Sad day for the supposedly "land of the free"
Post by: Eric on June 28, 2012, 09:57:37 am
Its time for our Governor to grow a pair and tell the Fed Govt where to go. They need our taxes to operate. The Federal Govt is like a bunch of children and its time for us to act like parents. The first step is to not fund their stupidity or unwanted behavior. >:(

Didn’t mean to come across as an a$$, BUT I am flat out exhausted with all of it--- Other countries are starting to STAND UP--- Egypt, Syria to mention TWO--- I think folks are DONE with getting lied at--- American politicians (ALL OF THEM) are the worse liars and they get away with it with NO REPERCUSSIONS what so ever, they steal from us and we have just sat here and excepted it, they have taken away from honest hard working folks and given to lazy free loaders and we have done NOTHING---NOTHING, NOTHING.

HOW MUCH LONGER???  Every night I sleep myself thinking WHAT CAN I DO--- it’s frustrating because alone I can do very little and even if I do it will cause no effects, THIS NATION AS A WHOLE NEEDS TO STAND---because it’s been on its knees long enough.

When you vote.  At some point, more people will vote for/against the individual, instead of the party.

If you are referring to physical action (military, succession, etc.) that is not going to happen and if it did it would not succeed.

It will take state leaders standing up and saying NO. 26 states were against this. If 26 states did not send in Federal Tax Revenue and kept it in their states the Fed Govt would take note. They can not put us all in jail. It would be on the Federal Govt to make the first military move to try to enforce it.

First, most taxes aren't remitted by the states.  They are remitted by the individuals and business entities within the states.  So if you didn't remit them, it is not like the states would have the funds.  Further, most income taxes are withheld at the employer level.  They do have a lot to lose if they decide to ignore federal laws.

As in many situations, they don't have to "put everyone in jail".  A few high profile cases usually suffices.

VOTE??? for who? One liar for another?  One thief for another? They ALL line their pockets with our hard earn money, not a single one is legit and anyone thinking one is better than the other has intentionally blinded himself covered his own eyes.

Jeremiah 10:23 ---O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps

Its gonna continue to go like this till anothr country completely owns this country and or the fed gov has complete and total control of the american people. RL is right about voting the crooks out and ignoring the parties. As far as physical action, not enuf folks with the stones to seek action. To much talk, to many chiefs, not enuf grunts and none of the groups cant agree with each other and ignore the end result of freedom from tyranny from the gov

I agree.  Bad choice in one candidate verses a bad choice in a different candidate.  They all tell you what they think will get you to vote for them  ...  so that they can gain power (and money).

Hey, I didn't say we had good choices, only that we do have input (representation).  Now maybe it feel futile because we may be one vote out of 150 million  ...  or even several million  ...  or even several hundred thousand.  But we do have that one vote.

No doubt---I just have ZERO faith in government-- I hope I am not coming out argumentative--- its an itchy subject---i usually stay clear way from politic topics, BUT I am about fed up with these idiots in capitol hill--- they are a bunch of lieing thieves--- to me they fall in the same category as a dog thief.

Your still talking about going thru the federal govt. When we draw a line in the sand their rules, regulations, and courts mean nothing. If a business wants to do business in Texas they will make sure the taxes get in the right hands.

You think your vote matters? What a joke. The one that wins anything but the President has the biggest money to spend on a campaign. They get that from insurance companies. The president, well you don't even vote for the President. You vote for the electorial college. Contact your representative and you will find out how much they care about your vote.

Congress is having trials instead of the courts, the President is trying to tax when tax bills must originate in the Senate, the Supreme Court is trying to be the legislators. I could go through every part of the Constitution and give examples of how it is abused. That piece of paper has become nothing but toilet paper for politicians and judges.

It’s make me SICK to my stomach to hear how many MILLIONS they spend on their god dang campaigns while THOUSANDS of men and women(AMERICAN MEN AND WOMEN) are losing their homes and are struggling to find work ---how many jobs can they create with that money??? OH HOLD UP--- what jobs??? Corporations and CEO’s are sending jobs oversees so they can pay cheap labor and materials and further line their pockets, mean while AMERICAN MEN AND WOMEN are unemployed, CEO’s stealing MILLIONS and laying off hundreds so THEY can make sure they get their million dollar bonuses.

SOMETHING NEEDS TO HAPPEN, I just dont have a clue what.

I agree that this is happening.  But I don't have the solution either.  Big corporations have always circumvented the campain contribution laws to some degree.  With the CU ruling  ...  they don't even need to be creative.  They are going to be even more influential.

Talk and votes mean NOTHING. Bullets are what changes things ;) Worry about  your own home and property and neighbers who share your beliefs. When "they" come to enforce their change, stand together and fire on them.  Time to choose sides boys.

Making a stand in ones area is futile. The gov can mass on small number with minimal casualties. Its time to take the fight to their front door, but it takes numbers to achieve that feat. Oly, what did u mean by testify?
We hav as american given the gov all the power to govern us as they, not us see fit. Dub is correct about votes. Our votes dont mean chit. Money talks n bs walks n since we aint got the money, we just bend over n take it. I hav been in sence preaching our gov has to much pwr n needs to be removed n it has stirred the wasps everytime. Its past time to remove the feds, eithr by talks or by force n talks hav gone in 1 ear n out the other.

Charles-- "testify" or "preach it" would kinda be the same thing, like a preacher would ask someone to give a testimony or testify--- I use it in a casual FUN way as when things get to serius and I agree witha coment someone makes--- HOW EVER this is NO Laughing matter as I see it, you where still TESTIFING or saying it true.

Ok, oly. Like the first time i heard the comment of works. Didnt understand n it was short for that works. Warrent, i wasnt saying for u to die somewhere else. I was stating its easier for them to mass on a small area than it is a huge city. For me, im gonna die no matter what n i would rather die for my freedoms, not for some ragheads on thier soil. I would rather stain the concrete than go against those that hav the crappy part of enforcing stupid laws. Those that enforce the laws are not the 1s that made the laws, the makers are the 1s that need removing.
