Post by: justincorbell on July 05, 2012, 11:04:37 pm I've seen a couple different posts with pigs, i'd like to see ya'lls mounts, also who is your recommendation for hog taxidermy??? I had 1 hog that i wanted full body mounted but hurricane ike decided otherwise! Anyone know what a 304lb hogs hide smells like after its been in a deepfreeze without power for 4 days in 90 degree weather??? It aint pretty!

Took 3 shots of 3.5" 00buck from 15 yards to bring him down, and the 4th ended him as he pawed toward a thicket. Didn't weigh him but there was no way my FIL and I could pull him out. I say 350+. original tusks were matched to the fake ones

Overalls in new caney is the best around that i have found. Thats who did these... I had another local guy do a whit tail years ago and it looked like crap and started falling apart.
