Meet Nasty..our jack russell. We vest him everytime. He is like montana's baby.
He is a house dog. My son is mean as heck to him and he just loves my son.

Thanks...they are a solid pack of females...except for my Leopard Cash....but he lost his fellas in a cow baying accident....so he gets to go with the girls.....even if they are in season..... ;D All three females will go find their own hogs and are hard hunters which often leds to multiple bays....but they will hold 'em til we get there..... ;D And they will catch if it is under 150 lbs +/-. Jada is turning into an awesome catch dog. Cash is a rookie, but is catching on quick, he will go out and stay out with the girls.

Too bad on loosin his boys, but most of us will go out and stay out with the girls!!!! :D, He sure is a good lookin dog, and thanks, I was hopin someone would start the braggin part, and seems you can back it up! good deal.

this is buster. he belongs to RIP.  dry runs are not an option for buster.  if there's a pig around and the trails hot he'll find it.  if he gets outrun, he'll find it again. period. 

buster has found 30 pigs this year only hunting every other saturday, so roughly 8 hunts.

hopefully he's got pups coming in about 62 days from my mountain cur squirrell/coon dog.  she's registered omcba, but i chose to breed to buster (grade cur) b/c he's the best hog dog i have access to and she's the hardest hunting treedog i've ever seen.  ill try and get pics of her too.  if the breeding takes ill post up on dogs for sale and they'll be cheap to serious hunters who'll keep them in the woods and report back to me.

Nice looking dog! You say  grade, what type of dogs is he out of?
How does he bay? ect.

I'll let Daniel (RIP) tell you about where Buster come from, I really don't know myself.

But as to how he hunts, long ranged, pretty gritty, has a very LOUD and growlin bark, when you hear him your gonna have a catch.. ;D and like Jeff said, "dry runs are not an option" for him. I've hunted with this dog since last Nov and had 1 dry run with him, and he had found one earlier that day...lol

If I could clone a hog dog it would be him, I'm definately in line for a pup if the breeding took.

Bar m    They laughed at cash and roxy the first time u took them. Said what cute puppies they were. Some whispered "what they gonna do with them little dogs?" They weren't laughing no more when they came out of the bay pen. Bring on Nasty and show em how the little dog's play!!!!! ;D

If my wife had anything to do with it thats the way it would be !!! but i am keeping this dog for my boy so when he is old enough to understand he will already have his own dog and be ready to catch hogs and say "thats my dog"
Tater is a good lookin dog and i have had quite a few folks offer me A LOT of money for him . All i do is point to my wife and say " thats the one to talk to" she was offered $500,$300,and $250 twice for that dog all before he was 5 weeks old and i could not believe she did not sell him !!!
We were at a bbq and i told the guy who offered her $500 that he could have the dog and my wife would not do it i could not believe it !!! I am in the middle of rebuilding my airboat and almost done $500 bucks woulda got me to the finish line!!! but whatever !!!

I have had a lot of litters over the years prolly 25 or 30 and she has never,,, not even once liked or gotten attatched to any pup !! she knows the rules they are hunting dogs and they get hurt or killed!!! so she just has always stayed away....

well this pup and my lil boy have had a thing from day one and my wife would not let me seperate them !! they are buds but I woulda let him go for $500 ... LOL

cetchdawg i like the looks of that puppy :) out of the litter how mant turned out like him  ???

She only had two (that lived) she had one still born that looked like him and she had one retained that the vet had to cut out !! he said it was just a pile of mush so idk  what it looked like ! his mama and daddy (both my dogs) are out of some really good dogs so he should turn out just like them.

i really hope he does not turn out to be a find/catch dog like them but the odds are lookin that way.. his daddy was an awesome bay dog till he was about a year old when he grew a set and now he has no bark at all .. his mama has caught since day one ...  but we will see i am gonna do my best to keep him away from the gritty dogs and hope he keeps his own habbits !!!! my goal is to have him bay tight ..  ???

hey catch..... that's right for cleatus.  MiMi is 1/2 cur 1/2 catahoula.

The cur with the black mug is a Leopard /Blackmouth mix their bloodline has been around this area for around 15 years give or take.  I'm going to breed him in the next two weeks to the puppy in the backgrounds sister and already have all the pups spoken for.  Not selling them just giving them out to guys that I hunt with that have some other dogs with the same bloodlines.  The cur that is facing the camera looking to the side was a dog that a friend gave up on when he was 7 months old now he regrets it because he has turned into a great dog.  Not to sure what blood he has in him he hunts so it doesn't matter. ;D  The puppy in the background come from Roger Montgomery (guys from this area probably know of him) and his bloodline goes back about 30 years no bs.  He has been in the woods now about 12 times and just turned a year old.  Turning out good so far.  Thanks for looking

i was just browsing through your website again last night.... that Supay is the sire to this upcoming litter as well, correct??  i really like Eden as well.

Thanks, yea he is real serious when it comes to huntin, we call him Killer, but at home in the kennel he is all play.  He is a big ole baby unless there are hogs around.

this is kopa. 1/2bmc(i've seen her bay up a pack of 13 hogs by herself till the reenforcements got there)1/2dogo(will catch any size hog, period the end). she is 8months old and in hot sign will find a hog, run it down and stop it. if it tries to run she will lay teeth to spin it then back off and bay. she has been trained on a 300lb boar and shows no fear. have really high expectations for this one. my buddy has her two sisters and he has the same expectations as i do.

this is sunny my bmc gyp. james davis/sweeny black mouth cur lines. she is a very loose bayer, avg to above avg speed, above avg handle. about half of her littermates are lead dogs for other peoples packs. many are asking for seconds cause they are so pleased with the ones they have. all of her littermates will bay a hog and all will find you one, just some are a touch better than others. i think with more exposure she will be one of the better ones.

at the beginning of next year i'll be getting a dogo pup that will be a double grandson to the father kopa. i guess making them aunt and nephew. kopa's half brother and sister right now at 9months will find a hog and catch any size hog you put in front of them. my buddy won't let them hunt regularly with us yet cause he doesn't want them to get killed, he's waiting till they get a little older before he takes them to the woods consistantly. really excited about these two and the future dogo pup.

Runnin real low on dogs this is all ive got right now.
But ive still been doin it with just these two.

Ollie, Steve's catch dog, is half Lacy-half pit and would hunt on her own if we let her. Problem is she doesn't bark, she would sit out in the woods caught all day waiting for backup.

Willie.. Strike dog medium ranged, about 7 years old came from Florida used to catch but not anymore. Has been hunting since he was 7mo old and was the ugliest puppy I had ever seen  :D hes small but has the biggest heart and drive to hunt. Ive seen him caught on a 250# boar before. Hes our lead strike dog.

Our Queen Sophie. Shes a strike dog medium to long range very gritty 5 1/2 years old born in our yard and one of the best we have.  She is HOG CRAZY!!! Shes one of those wont sit still for a pic...can you tell?

Cody. Long range strike dog will catch 4 years old. Stays out hunting even while were resting hes no where to be seen. Same parents as Bocano and Sophie but from different litter also born in our yard. Hes one of our gooduns.

She is retired and Is mother to all of the above except Willie. She is a strike dog but wont bark much, we have to rely on pig squealin unless its a really big one. Ol Sadie is retired but in her day she would tear any hog up. Sadie will spend the rest of her days pissin my dad off for makin holes to lay in the drive way  :laugh: She is a good dog.

Paloma. Monteros littermate has found hogs and is fast. she is a little more playfull than her brother but she will grow up. not gritty will bay and let the catch dogs do their job then run off after another. With time she will be just as good as her brother is now, or better.

Rattler going on 15 years old and been on more hogs than most hog hunters.  Med. range with more bottom than most people care for.   Belongs to my dad.  Ben hunting with this dog since I was about 9 years old.   He was Hunted hard untill about 13 years old untill his hearing got bad and he got too slow to get away from bad hogs mostly.  Hunted him in Feb of 09' and he still has what it takes, and still a he11 of a strike dog.  Older photo of him

Paris... 6 year old gyp out of Rattler.  Meduim range and bottom just like her sire.  In cool weather you can hunt all day long the more you hunt the better she gets.  Give her one days rest and she will be ready to go again.  Loose baying strike dog, hardly ever gets cut.  Recent photo of her showing her age

Spooky Joe. 2 1/2 year old dog  Short range stop dog.  Found a few hogs for me and hunts hard but just does'nt have the range or expereince that the other dogs do.  A dang good dog with a few kinks, but getting better about being so spooky.  He will make a hog pay attention, but also has the finesse to bay a group.  He makes me do more sewing than I like but if he gets a hog in a bind the hog will have to pay heck to get away.  I started to think that he was getting a little bit softer and backing off some on bad hogs, but then we got on a bad boar two weeks ago he made a liar out of me but he's almost back to 100%.

Thanks! I get some pretty embarrassing ones sometimes, but I figure if I introduce them with that one then I can only do better from there. Sometime I hope to have some pictures of successful hunts, but I'm not going to push my luck there.

That porcupine one made me cringe!
