Title: Come here sir step right up
Post by: TushHog on July 12, 2012, 12:20:17 am
Take a guess how many illegal immigrants border patrol has caught on the ranch I work on in the past two days. I am in southern Brooks county. I will answer tomorrow when I check this out again. Bonus points if you can guess how close most of them were to my house.

45 night before last. 500 yards from my house. 27 yesterday and last night just on the ranch. I told ya my location you don't need to know the exact ranch. Wow in my post I might treat it as a game sorry if it offends you. The only reason I posted this is to inform others who don't live in this area how many illegals are coming through on a daily basis. On a neighboring ranch last week 168 were caught in a day off of one trail. How many trails through the brush do you know of that 168 hogs go down daily?

I'm not at all suprised. A friend of mine's brother is married to a girl who has relatives in Mexico and they have to pay money to the cartel to keep their families safe. One family didn't have the money to pay and there was some sort of mix up as to who had paid and who hadn't paid. Long story short, one of the girls relatives was kidnapped and held for ransom. Apparently this is common in Mexico and the authorities can't do anything about it. This is why so many people are fleeing to the U.S.

Sounds like the Mexican govt. needs to gather a large army and wage war against the cartels. If that is even possible.

This is one reason that we are going to vacation in Florida this year. I wanted to take a cruise to the west carribian but my husband said that there is no way in heck we are going to set foot in Mexico right now or any time in the near future.

Man that is wild.    I would say need to tie up some scary pits up around place    But hell they'd probably just make dinner out of them

Do they ever mess with you or any of your stuff?

My neighbor went down south welding and said all you had to do was leave water out Side door of camper and that's all they would get?

i use to hunt a ranch down in south tesas and we had to leave the cabin doors unlocked. I asked the owner why and he said the illegals are going to get in no matter what. He said you can come back to a door that is busted open, that is if you locked the door. or you can come back to nothing damaged, if you leave it unlocked.

Unfortunentaly from what i have read/heard/ watched on tv leads me to believe that the mexican government is as corrupt as any and has a hand in most of the larger cartels inner workings. Truely is sad.

Oh i completely understand what you ment and in know way am i offended but just as DJhogdogger clearly stated  the situation in mexico. I know alot of people who have been killed for the same reason. If you own a business and trying to do good for your family and yourself its very hard cause the cartel will MAkE you pay them a monthly allowance and if you lack in any way,  you and your family are gone in a heartbeat up to brutally tortured in front of one another. Oh i have heard alot of personal stories that i couldnt even think of someone doing such harsh things.  So i can clearly see why alot of people are trying to get away from
the threat to try and better and secure their family. I just dont find it right someone trying to make a joke out of it JMo

I havent ever been out of oklahoma , I watch the border patroll tv shows , I dont see all the trash they leave as there coming this way , but I do know this , if it wasnt for the mexicans the construction market wouldnt be , no white men or black men will work this feild as a whole , there americanized , lazy, complainers and just plain out suck as workers , the construction market would take a big hit and would be set back years trying to teach a new work force  that are lazy and what I call americanized , the goverment knows this and thats why there hasnt been anything done about this problem , the amegos get a tax return here legal or illegal , so the goverment knows there here but do nothing , they need to stomp out the free checks to the lazy sponges that live here and do nothing , they are everywhere , what happened to the american hard worker , what happened to the guy that cuts his finger and covers it up and works on instead of trying to sue someone for nothing or stays laid up at the house because hes a pu$$, the white and black work force is a bunch of crap as a basic whole , Ive done concrete work for 20 yrs , I have 2 white  boys that I have trained in this time the rest come and go and complain and are trash for workers , [ AMERICANIZED] I do think they need to fix the immigration problem , but kicking out the true family men , hard workers is not the answer in my book  , lets take mexico over , make them a state and they would all be legal , no more complaints , drug test all americans that get goverment help , I do lots of churchs , they all generally have help ministrys , there are always lines at there doors and its not mexicans , its white and black folks looking for a free hand out because there to lazy to work for it , just sit in a chair and beg for help , AMERICANIZED , my sister is the worst at this so this hits close to home , shes 42 and hasnt worked 6 months in here intire life , she has sued eveyone she has worked for , always looking for the next check , going to churchs pulling the cry card so they will pay here bills , gets a 1000 dollar check from the goverment once a month , cant work because she will loose her free goverment insurance , goes to the hospital any time she wants because she dont haft to pay , gets free pain pills so she can turn around and sell them to more white trash, this is the ones that need culled in my book , not the ones trying to make a honest living

I know a man that has family in Mexico...they owned a small store and one day the Cartel walked in and demanded 85% of the profits...and they got it for a year before the store owner just left the store and sold his house to get away from the cartel....they beat him up once when he didn't want to pay and the next time they said they were going to his house and it would be his wife and kids...but the real fix shouldn't be too hard...

My great grandfather used to farm and ranch in Mexico, his mother was Mexican, but when pancho villa took over they took all the land and and everything else they owned since his dad was an American. Not much different than the cartel today. So like i said earlier not trying to joke about it, trying to raise awareness. Since obamma has made it easier for people under thirty to get more benefits its  amazing how many young people are coming across. We find 11-16 year old kids lost and dehydrated daily. Bad enough for a boy, but the trip over here for a little girl is horrible! Our government and mexicos are both to blame.

Ya... They are building a 5K sq ft house at a place I take care of. Those guys have skills. There was like 20+ guys busting azz. They started at like 4am with light towers and barely got done before it was started to set on them.

We got framers out there now. 6 of them on the crew and they come to work in one Ford Ranger. That's really going green.

I work in the oilfield and work with almost all mexicans so I don't mind the mexicans that come over here to work leagal or not but I do mind the ones that are here hiding from what they did in Mexico like one mexican man i worked with was a hitman in Mexico and not many people new this and to meet him you would think he was a nice guy. These are the ones I have a problem with.

Its our govt that has made it a negative. If we would secure the border. Stream line workers so they can come thru the gate not our back yards. Give them identification so they can pay taxes. You have done away with the majority of the negatives.

Man thats another thing i have to admit. As far as working there not scared at all. I work at the plants doing inspection. And i can kinda manage my schedule at work to where on days that i know its gona be hot or cold i can work half the day in the morning when its cool and spend the rest of my day in the office doin "paperwork" but these scaffold builders and insulators wich 95% of them are mexicans are out there 24/7 in the heat or cold all day long with a strict 30 min lunch. As far as our job its pretty flexible our lunch varies from 1hr to hr and a half. And every time i wana b***h about my job i stop and think for a minute and realize how easy some of us got it.

Title: Re: Come here sir step right up

I have worked construction with some good ones and some bad ones. Usually if theyre around for more than a day or so there good ones to work with. We would work 70 hr weeks I would get paid  close to 850 a week doing the same job as an illegal an they would get paid 300 for that week.  They are hard working people and I personally have a lot of respect for someone who is willing to work like that to better themselves and or there families, which was the case for 90% of them. Now if there was a legal way for them to work like this , that is not such a pain in the arse to get, I would be all for it. But at the same time if your working harder and getting paid less than me more power to you. ;D

I personally think we need to fix our country before we let more people in it. For gods sake we have American veterans living on the street, with not a penny to their name. We also have Americans that bust there ass everyday that are struggling to keep their jobs. We need to help the people that are already here & fix our economy before we start letting more people in. Bit that's just my opinion.

It may have been said already.(didn;t read every post) but I have not met a single illegal mex. that cared one bit about american ideals. Most that I have talked to that even know who the president is, like obama.I have said on here before that i respect any man that is a worker.I am however getting a little tired of seeing a bunch of people come in  here who don't care anything about our country or it's founding or it's politics. don't respect our laws language or culture and all...... ( THATS RIGHT I SAID ALL)! Have their wives and family on welfare food stamps and medicaid. (Go to the health department sometime and look it's all or nearly all foreigners there). If we made em stay home they might just get tired enough of their own country to do something about its worthless state of being! 20,000,000 illegals in the u.s. could do alot back in mex land where they belong. My main point of contention about the whole thing is they dont identify as americans. Thats why illegals don't assimilate. They stay mex and act mex. and have no respect for america as she was founded. They change us not the other way around!

I understand and agree with that some what. Some of them don't want to be Americans. Thats ok. They don't have to be citizens for them to work here. We just need some thing set up so they pay taxes on what they earn here. Where they send the money or spend the money after that is their business.
