Fine looking pups. How are they bred, registered or just a local line that produces?

Ha ha, I musta over read the fact you owned the parents, my bad man.  So how do they hunt as far as nose, range, grit, and bottom?

ha its ok... I like my dogs short to medium range as we walk hunt mostly. Ive taught mine to stay back and bay no catch at all but they will get in there face.. prettty good nose to I cant complain lots of drive and brains too.

I have a Buddy X Gypsy male. He hustles and can run a track pretty darn fast. He is not rough and is pretty determined once he finds a track. And another plus is he is a bob tail.  ;D
H
We had Buddy here for a while and he is an exceptional dog. He hunted independent (300-400 yd loops) and would bay as long as you needed to catch the hog. He handles like a dream and can work all day. Buddy is not rough and is worked on both hogs and cattle. His pups have shown many of his traits and he is a proven producer of solid dogs.

Frank also was here for a while.  He tends to hunt closer and does add a little grit. He is a very fast dog and wants to please.

Keep us updated on the progress of the pups as they should make some good ones.

good lookin cats.. i spoke with the people at river bottom years ago and to date everytime i see a bobbed tailed cat it seems river bottom is in the mix. i guess the bobbed gene runs strong.

Good deal!  Kris has a good thing going there. I really am impressed with the working ability of Buddy's offspring. She really knows her dogs and can pretty much tell you how each cross she makes will work.

These three are of Moto Moto my dog out of Buddy

The tan dog in this pic is one of Buddy's brothers named G2. He has a litter on the ground right now and was just bred to a dog from Mississippi hopefully he is a producer as well he has extremely long legs and is a nice dog.

I sure like the looks of moto! He looks like hes all buiseness!  cash never makes a sound while at home on the chain you never even know he's there but when its time to hunt he 's ready to go!  I have heard of G2 seems like all these dogs are jam up dogs!  Do you think bob tail dogs move a lil better? or makes no diffrence?

The bob tailed dogs do move a bit different and I really like the way they move. Not necessarily better but is my preference.
The great thing about the Buddy and G2 bloodlines is that they tend to reproduce themselves or make dogs better than themselves. You keep working those old spotted dogs and best of luck with the pups.  Maybe one day we can get them stubb tailed dogs in the woods together and stumble across a hog or two.

See how easy it can be to give a straight forward no bs answer abt your dogs.......unlike a few of the "other threads".

Good looking dogs btw!
