I dont understand why people will not give feedback or send pic of how the pup is doing? Id think they would want to show off an be proud of the dog they got..but maybe thats just me

Maybe it's been culled ? Or sold/given to someone else ???

welcome to the new and unimproved world of doggin   rolleyes  i have been breeding and distibuting hog dogs for the last 13 years . breeding trying to get a better dog . that's why i've allways kept a male and female pup till they were going good and started some finished . of all the pups i've sold only a hand full will ever fullfill the agreement to keep in touch and give updates on the dogs progress . why i do not know . i have called people on the pups first year anniversery [ thats when the warrenty ended ] and you would think i was a bill collector . so i just quit calling them . it's sad but what ya gonna do ? my philosphy has become no news is good news and let it go at that .

I agree, it makes no sense BUT i think part of the reason you don't get many replies is because quite a few people that use the dog trade NEVER post on here and all they use the site for is the dog trade. Its no different then the tons of people who get on here solely to sell dogs, i tell people all the time that if a person has 10 posts and 8 of em are in the dog trade then that should throw a red flag!!!

what are you talking about justin ? i don't think you get the gist of this thread we ain't talkin bout sellin dogs on the dog trade that's a differant thread . this is a thread from reputable people asking for feed back on dogs and or pups that they have sold . most the dogs being talked about on this thread have never been listed on the dog trade . it's about sellin good quality pups and having people not keep up with the breeder on their progress . any good breeder want's to know what is happening with their pups .  and sorry redtick didn't meen to highjack your thread , hope some-one answers you

Over the last 40 or so years if a persons dog turns out good it was their stock and if it turns out bad it came from you.

Have some great dogs out all over and very few give credit to where they came from, pups or older dogs.

I didn't mean to sidetrack the thread and you are right, i don't know if any of the pups he is speaking of were listed on the dog trade. I was just implying that if they were sold on the dog trade then there is a good chance that the people who bought them won't see this thread to respond to it with pictures. It has been my past experience anyhow.

txmason you got that right i only have 2 litters of pups out there and i kept half of one litter and was wanting to see how the rest are doing ,and Halfbreed thats like me i guarantee my pups to work by the time they are a year old but like you said they want call or awnser .
