Title: Labs for hog dogs Post by: chads7376 on July 17, 2012, 04:14:04 pm Ran across this while being productive at work today. Thought it was interesting. Seen a couple topics on here about Labs making hog dogs. I guess they work good for these guys.

I've seen other dogs jump on them and when it's over they wish they hadn't done that. Generally speaking a lab can hold his own with little or no damage. Seems like they have extra tough hide.

I have owned and / or trained quite a few for bird hunting, they have been overall the most intelligent dogs i've ever been around. The best dog i've ever owned without a doubt was a female lab that i lost earlier this year. I could get her to do just about anything, she had an amazing nose and the brains to back it up.
