Is there an easy way to remove cactus from a dog?  I got all the large cactus out but not all the little red cactus... Tell me how yal get cactus out of your dogs

Run a pair of pantyhose over the smaller ones,they will stick in there but you will stlll have to tweeze a lot of them out. If they can lick the area they will work them out evetually but if theres lots of those tiny ones in them it is a good idea to give some benadryl for a antihysamine to ease the pain and irritation until they die off a little.

They won't hurt them... I hunt in some cactus country and I never pull them out

The big ones are easy. Then like my hairy arms and legs I use duct tape if it is bad enough. I get most of them and the rest work themselves out. I will try panyhose next time. Which one of you guys has some handy rolleyes (Just picking on the panthose hope you can take a joke)
