Everyone keeps telling me that I am looking at a couple of MONTHS for a full recovery.... You gotta be kidding me. I told them in not your typical catch every cold person or one that lays on the couch all the time so I'm hoping it takes a couple of months for a "weaker" person. If you can't get enough air you will feel tired and worn down and only want to rest. It's nothing to play around with you will also be more likely to get it in the future.

The vaccine only works on 23 of the 80 different types of bacteria that will give you pneumonia and for most of the people the vaccine is good for a lifetime, others its 5-8 years and then you have to get it again. I had it twice, once when I was four and it led to sepsis and almost killed me, the second time was not a bad one for most but because I had it before it made it worse, so if you have it once dont ever get it again...it sucks.

I'm feeling tons better, but still getting tired really easy, I was just wondering when I can expect to be back to normal? On a different (good) note, it's been one week, and I went from smoking 1/2 a pack, to nothing. I've had one in the last week. Guess there is something to be said for being sick. do not really want to quit. I only know you from this forum but you seem like a strong willed person. If you really want to quit, throw them away and say #uck em.
