Title: Hogs can't see L.E.D.s!!
Post by: dangedhogs on August 05, 2012, 02:51:01 pm
Just heard from my uncle the other night that hogs can't see LEDs. Anyone heard of this before?? I know for a fact they can't see a green led. I've gotten 2 feet from a hog with my elusive wildlife green led light shining right in her face, she didn't kno I was there till the wind shifted. So anyone had any experience with white L.E.D.s and hogs??

depending on what wave lenght of light it is IE: IR, incadecent, and so forth, hogs and deer, can see incadecent light aswell as LED, which is a Light Emitting Diode as long as its in a specific color spectrum

Oh yeah he said the led doesn't have uv and that's why they can't see it. I'm gonna switch my led in my flash light to the white led and go to my feeder tomorrow night. I'll let y'all know how it works
