89-99 probably 33s 99-07 sit a lot lower so 32s then 08 and up they got a lil taller buddy of mine has an 08 z71 with a levelin kit he jammed 35s under it but it rubs on the wind guard under the bumper when turned all the way.
It also has a lot to do with tire width and if you have aftermarket rims the offset of the rim (how much the rim makes the tire stick out) I have a 95 z71 with 3" body lift 2" in the rear and 3" in the front once upon a time I had 38.5x14.5 tsl thornbirds(looked similar to super swampers) but I have bout a 3" offset on my rims so it only rubbed when I turned all the way

Go with 33's. I have a dodge mega cab 6 in lift with 37's. Biggest mistake I should have stayed with 35's. It looks great but rubs real bad in the front. That rubbin gets real annoying

Do u have a factory bumper? If so u need to get rid of it or do some trimin. I didnt believe it when he told me, but i saw a 2010 2500 with a 2" leveling kit clearing a set of 37x13.5x20 toyo mt. he had a ranch hand bumper.

Charles, with a leveling kit it will change the suspension geometry and bring the axle back towards the cab and it will rub the back of the fenderwells. With 37's you need the long arm leveling kit, which will put the axle back in the right position.

With any lift/leveling kit, it changes the geometry from what it was designed at. Im not gonna argue with you, but you are wrong with having to have a long arm kit. I had an 06 2500 with an 8" lift and used my factory radius arms. Now with the guys tck that had a 2" spacer "aka" leveling kit. He had factory radius arms, ranchhand bumper and was NOT rubbing. I thought it would rub too, but it didnt.

They should not be rubbing. But where are they rubbing? What size Dodge Mega Cab? 1500, 2500, or 3500? I can make them fit with a 6" lift no problem. If they are rubbing there is a fix and you don't need more lift or to even cut the fenders. What is the wkeel offset on your rims? Are they stock? Shops are bad for selling wheels that almost fit just to make a buck.

that wide of a tire, you should have 3-4" of backspace. with my 13.5 tires, i had 20x10 with a 4" backspace and i didnt have any issues except when i went to a full collapse on the shock, and in a full turn, it would rub a lil then.

They should fit no problem. Where are you located? I would bet it is the plastic in the wheel well. Turn the wheels all the way and then turn the truck off so the strearing wheel lock hold them. then look at both sides to see where it is rubbing. The plastic is easy to trim.

I believe your problem is the aftermarket rims with the change in offset, also my tires are 12.5 wide.....couldnt go 13 wide because of the dual rearwheel.

We bought the truck like this from the dealership. Just went from 35's to 37's. It was considered the southern comfort edition for dodge. My pops friend bought it in black.

Get smaller friends or less of them ;D Dealerships sell stuff like that but they don't do the work. They send that out to a shop. Stiffer springs would help you if you want to keep your friends. Most lifts use lighter springs for more flex. They are not made for carrying extra weight. Check with a 4x4 shop and see if they can get you heavier springs. If your trans keeps going out then you need to adjust the transmission angle.

spring stoppers will fix the friend problem. i had a lowered civic that could fit 3 in the back and still not rub cause of the stoppers

I really do need a friend with a lift. I did but he sold his shop and moved.

Ok I have a question about a 2nd gen Dodge. I am dropping the axle to put a small lift on it. But I have never jacked with these coil springs before. The instuctions said that after removing the upper shock monet and shocks to lower the axel until the springs can be removed. Well I lowered that jack down until it was not supporting the axle at all but the springs are not coming out. What is holding it up? If nobody can tell me I will just disconect everything until it drops. I was working in the heat today. I will e at it again by 7 in the morning before it gets hot so my brain can work. because I don't have a fancy lift or even shade like some spiled people rolleyes I'm just jealous.

try a srping compressor, but it its hard to say w/o seeing what al is still connected to the axel and tck frame. spring compressos will allow you to compress it w/o having to do a lot of disassembly.

I dropped every thing on the axle but those two paralel bar things Bottomed out trying to get the spring back in with the spacer >:( I like leaf springs. At least i have an idea what will be needed when I go bigger now. I have never worked with coil spring on a 4x4.

dub, disconnect both top and bottom radius arms on each side. it will allow the axle to drop out of the way and release the springs. i wish i was closer to ya, i would giv ya a hand. aint got a shop nor a lift, but i got a lot of shade tree mech under my belt.
